ALERTS: ON THE ROAD
Steppin' Out will be in Israel and Morocco from June 15-July 2. Please be patient for our responses.  In Israel we are arranging trips for a few different families celebrating milestones by touring and participating in some volunteer work in fields and on army bases.   Our Morocco portion will be securing our fall itinerary.  Check out the tentative itinerary below
HELP ME, HELP ME, HELP, SHE CRIED....
Well it's not really for me, it's for your fellow travelers who have to ask for time off work in advance. I know the trips eventually fill, but we can't guarantee departure unless there are a certain number of people. While we wait for those who can't make a commitment, those who need to set a plan, go elsewhere.
So if you have been thinking about a trip, just do it, or at least call me to discuss so I can gauge seriousness.
AND, if anyone has a suggestion on how to work with this issue, I am open to any suggestions!

INTRODUCING:

Do Good Adventures™  our newest division that was established to help organizations plan and implement events and trips that do good. We work with businesses, foundations, schools and non-profit organizations to create group trips, team-building events and fundraisers that help promote philanthropy and volunteerism. This division stemmed from  countless observations, conversations and experiences we had over the last 16 years  facilitating  trips and events that help bring people together. Our  hope is to bring members of affinity groups together,  unite a company and/or  help build cohesive, giving families through adventures in doing good - experiential travel and events that bring together families, employees, organization members in ways that make them really understand and feel how their actions can help change the world for the better.

PUT A LITTLE ADVENTURE IN YOUR LIFE AND STEP OUT OF YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

Steppin' Out Adventures is well known for hosting excellent group travel and crafts its trip itineraries for those who want more than a vacation. For over 16 years, we have designed trips primarily, but not exclusively, for Jewish singles, who want to  discover places and cultures that you won't explore on an average tour.  Our reputation of offering superb service has led us to doing corporate events, custom trips, and now a focus on families through our DO GOOD ADVENTURES.

Our often off the beaten track itineraries have us participating in activities that gives us a chance to get to know the people of the country we are visiting. Whether it's biking the hard to reach villages in Thailand, hunting with the bushman in Tanzania, living on a family ranch in Brazil  or working on a lion conservation project in South Africa,  we always put a bit of a twist to our trips. We're not hard core, though we do have challenging trips like climbing  Kilimanjaro, but we'll have weekends at local camps, wine tastings  and of course our legendary ski trips out west, as well as cooking adventures in Crete or Peru.

But it's not only the unique itineraries that make us different, it is also our desire and success at facilitating a bonding experience for participants both on our trips and after (and we're humble as we mention that over 60 marriages and countless friendships and partnerships have formed from our trips).  More and more psychologists and behaviorist are agreeing that money can buy happiness, when it is being spent on memorable experiences that emphasize interaction among one another. And that is exactly what we provide.

Helping Out in New Orleans

Steppin' Out had a different type of adventure this past Memorial Day Weekend.
painting houseWhile we explored, partook in the Food and Wine stroll and danced to amazing music, we stepped up to do our share and work with the Holy Cross Neighborhood Association. Our meals were as interesting as the rest.. breakfast with the head environmental reporter for the Times Picayune, lunch with the head of the Sierra Club there who explained the wetlands and israel negevthe oil spill effect, and dinner with a struggling parish who entertained us with their choir. t was amazing that four years after Katrina there is still so much work to be done. When we travel to other countries to help, we always feel that we've given hope to a struggling country by showing we care. The city of New Orleans is no different, while we may not have accomplished a huge amount on our trip, showing we cared went a long way for the people there and for a united country in general.Let us know if you want us to organize a trip for your own group or family.

GRAND CANYON OASIS
July 1-5 And Other DATES
grand canyonWe are joining up with some other groups to get you hiking the Grand Canyon this summer! This incredible trip has options to satisfy everybody - from relaxation to high adventure. Not many people know that nestled deep in the Grand Canyon is a hidden treasure: an oasis of lush, spring-fed pools, cascading waterfalls and dense vegetation. It's called Havasu. Trek along narrow side canyons, through underwater grottos and past gardens of ferns and watercress, pausing to soak up the awe-inspiring overlooks of the Grand Canyon as you make your way to your Havasu base camp, accessible only by foot. Visit the Native American village of Supai, the most remote village in the country, where the U.S. mail still arrives by packhorse. Pause for a dip at the base of the 100-foot Havasu Falls and learn how the native Havasupai have co-existed with nature for generations in such a remote, untouched landscape. Read more  details about the 4 and 5 day trips here  July 1-5 or August 6-9 (and other options)
