Dear All:
At the
time of writing we are pleased to have one group
who has just finished their Amazon portion of
their Peru trip and getting ready to start the
Inca Trail, and another group that has landed in
Cuba, starting their humanitarian mission of
visiting communities and bringing medical and
other needed supplies. If you still want to
get away in August or September, arrangements
can still be made, particularly for some of our
volunteer vacations (individual
departures).
Steppin' Out is going
through its own makeover. We will
continue to offer our specially designed trips
for singles, some in coordination with other
singles groups, but we are developing a new line
of trips, some with humanitarian missions and
cultural interaction and preservation, that will
be open to singles, couples, and families.
We will let you know which trips are
which.
In
the meantime, don't forget to check out the
trips listed below and their registration
deadlines (NEW FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR).
If you know in advance that you can not make the
registration deadline, please call and let us
know your situation so we can work something out
with you.
Also, there will be
changes to the offerings. As of
now, our Israel and Tanzania trips will not be
part of the singles 2010 offerings-- so if you
want to go on a group departure, make sure you
go in 2009-- both of these trips are very unique
and specially crafted, so it is doubtful you
will find similar itineraries offered.
New for next year will be visiting the
decorated tribes of Ethiopia and biking the
Northern part of Thailand. Let us know if you
have any interest.

OUT OF AFRICA: TANZANIAN
TREASURES: NOTHING COMPARES ...
 We're offering a somewhat
unconventional itinerary to explore the somewhat
traditional landscape of Tanzania and its superb
concentrations of diverse wildlife. You'll take
part in traditional safaris, go to the Famous
Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, but game
viewing will be intertwined with opportunities
to get out of the jeep, meet the tribes and
people of this fantastic country, help in an
orphanage, bike ride down the famous rift
valley, hike into glorious reflective craters,
go hunting with the bushmen, canoe at the base
of Mount Meru (the second tallest peak in
Africa) and walk among the family of giraffes
where you are close enough to see their
beautiful eye lashes as they gaze nonchalantly
upon you. GROUP DEPARTURE: Oct.
26 - Nov. 4. Add Kilimanjaro before if
interested. Another option is in
December, but we need confirmation for that one
just as early as the Oct. trip. REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
